2017年3月17日至19日假屏東縣政府消防局『特搜大隊訓練中心』舉辦『車禍救援挑戰賽』，主辦單位『中華民國繩索與救援協會』及『屏東縣政府消防局』，協辦單位『臺南市政府消防局』，指導單位『立法委員莊瑞雄辦公室』、『內政部消防署』。

挑戰賽主要分為『快速救援』、『標準救援』與『複雜救援』三個場景，救援時間分別為10分鐘、20分鐘與30分鐘，評分項目分為『指揮與團隊』、『救援技術』及『救護技術』三項。

目前計有基隆市、新北市、桃園市、新竹縣、台中市、彰化縣、嘉義縣、臺南市、屏東縣消防局及桃園市義消四搜(鐵漢)等十隊報名參加，恭請各界蒞臨參觀指導。

We are glad to announce that First Taiwan Extrication Challenge will be held at Pingtung USAR training center on 17 to 19 March 2017, In this time 10 professional teams who from different Taiwan fire departments will participate this Challenge, Will have five guests who are from US, UK,China and Hongkong will joint with us at this Challenge. Rickenbach who is a professional and over 20 years experience extrication instructor, He will share his rich training experience with Taiwanese instructors at Tainan fire department on 15 to 16 March 2017.
